Job Description

As a Data Analyst, you are expected to support the success of Pack Health in any and all tasks deemed critical and consistent with expectations set out by leadership and your direct manager. This position requires the ability to identify the needs of internal and external customers, identify and adopt best practices for data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of health outcomes and related health data, conduct research and analysis, and distill this into high quality reports for customers. This position is critical for the success of the company's entrepreneurial, patient-focused, high-quality culture. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

  • Design KPIs and metrics to track success/ROI of Pack Health programs.
  • Develop and apply advanced statistical models that help understand dynamic business issues.
  • Leverage data science strategies and techniques to use data to deliver actionable insights and guide decision-making.
  • Design custom analyses in SQL, R, SPSS, and Looker to investigate and inform business questions.
  • Synthesize and communicate results through oral and written presentations.
  • Develop relationships with key business stakeholders and serve as key point of contact on all data science questions.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, statistics, biostatistics, analytics, market research, or health economics
Preferred Work Experience:
  • 5+ years of data analysis and/or data science experience in the life sciences or healthcare industries

Knowledge:
  • Proven competency with programming languages such as SQL, Python, R
  • Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
Skills:

  • Proficiency with statistical analysis software such as SAS, SPSS, STATA and data visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau
  • Familiarity with data modeling and statistical design, including prospective and retrospective analysis methodologies and psychometric testing
  • Must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
