Who We Are:

The Embedded Systems Section oversees complex real-time embedded systems design for aerospace avionics electronics. Our team also specializes in avionics cybersecurity and pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in various sciences.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Provide innovative approach to solving exceptionally complex problems in aerospace/avionic systems
  • Support Business Development and Marketing to generate major Budgetaries and Proposals with US Airforce Global Strike Command and DoD (travel required).
  • Perform as a technical lead in department programs
  • Mentor entry level and junior staff to increase technical knowledge
  • Develop ideas for research/Conduct innovative research
  • Provide oversight to technical projects
  • Perform System Engineering over projects
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive reports to management on project status from a technical perspective
  • Develop presentations/Write Technical Reports/Review Technical Reports
  • Develop System Architecture Designs and Plans
  • Provide oversight to systems/functional components/software functions
  • Develop System Level requirements and provide guidance to staff working projects
  • Provide technical recommendations for improvement on processes to management
  • Lead multidisciplinary technical teams
Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelors, Masters, or a PhD with a 3.00 GPA in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • 10-18 years: Electrical/hardware/firmware design and development skills
  • Experience with C, C++, Python, Arduino, Matlab, UML, real-time operating systems. Component selection to meet airworthiness requirements, schematic design
  • Cyber-physical testing, false data injection, hijackin
  • Architecture design and development, real-time operating systems
  • Use of AI/ML towards embedded systems applications
  • Hardware/software integration, HWiL testing, simulation environments
  • Test planning, execution and documentation
  • Must have related internship or related industry knowledge
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required

Special Requirements:
