AgFirst is seeking a Lead Systems Administrator who will serve on all assigned AgFirst systems and all supporting systems. This role will provide technical expertise for systems administration to ensure availability and performance requirements are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a technical resource on AgFirst systems and all supporting systems
- Provide on-call support for the Server Operations team in support of Bank projects and operations
- Anticipate and mitigate potential issues related to system performance which may impact users' responsiveness within the system
- Researches and recommends alternative solutions regarding enhancing system performance
- Utilizing systems tools, ensure systems are continuously monitored for performance and availability
- Investigate and remediate issues that are reported
- Provided technical and consulting services for internal and external AgFirst customers as required
- Mentor other team member technicians by assisting in their training and development
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technology related degree
- Six to eight years' experience as administrator or system technician
- Technical knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Systems Center and Microsoft Exchange
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of information technology industry trends and emerging technologies, with an ability to relate those trends to the Bank and its objectives
- Ability to identify and solve complex technical problems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
