Description:

Description

The GameStop Supply Chain Systems team is looking for an experienced Product leader to drive the vision and roadmap of our fulfillment technology.

Supply Chain Technology (SCT) innovates to get our physical and digital products to our customers quickly, efficiently, and reliably. We build, support, and extend the systems that manage order fulfillment, transportation, warehouse operations, and inventory placement across our FC and retail nodes. As you may have read in the news, our mission is to make GameStop the e-commerce leader in our space, and we're looking for product managers with bold ideas to lead the way.

The Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Product Manager role will own the product strategy of FC systems as GameStop rapidly expands its FC network and fulfillment capabilities. You will be working closely with our Operations stakeholders on defining and designing the functions within our FCs. Responsibilities include building a long-term strategic roadmap and designing workflows for specific features.

The role can be remote but requires some travel to FCs and Dallas HQ. The ideal candidate has a high level of autonomy, ownership and is comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous environment with little direction.

What You'll Do

  • Build and own the roadmap and outcomes for your space. You are not an order-taker; your roadmap will embody your ideas on creating sustained competitive advantages.

  • Design creative solutions to complex problems. Your requirements should be clear to the implementation teams, and your outcomes should move the desired needle.

  • Measure and drive improvements to the critical metrics in your space.

  • Understanding a process deeply and driving the desired results will necessitate you to visit the FCs for learning and product launches.

  • You will communicate to a variety of audiences in written and live mediums. You are expected to write clearly and be "good in the room."

  • Work independently with stakeholders to establish and assess Supply Chain and Operational metrics.

  • Manage priorities across the organization.

What You'll Need

  • Ability & desire to work with autonomy.

  • Excellent verbal communication - you can explain your work to all levels of the company.

  • Excellent written communication - you can persuade all levels of the company.

  • Passion for products and how they impact customers.

  • Solid business acumen.

  • Attention to detail - you have deep knowledge of your space.

  • Strong technical understanding.

  • Experience effectively gathering and communicating requirements to a software engineering team using methodology-specific artifacts.

  • Proven ability to perform in-depth analysis, synthesize results, present strategies, and make recommendations to business and technical audiences.

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field. An advanced degree is a plus.

  • Experience in e-commerce and/or supply chain is a plus.

  • Passion for gaming is a plus.
