Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading all outbound shipments and unloading all inbound deliveries at our Manchester, New Hampshire location.

Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
* Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
* Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
* Moving of product to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
* Take product off the production line and store in designated location.
* Transport raw materials to production workstations.
* Inspect forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
* Verify piece counts on each pallet and compare to label.
* Material handling of all products.
* Follow manufacturing work orders.

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

* Highly motivated with good sound work ethics.
* Must demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail.
* Team player able to follow instructions from management and peers.
* Ability to learn and operate new equipment.
* Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
* Strong problem-solving skills and math skills with the capability to calculate square footage and batch size.

Education and Experience:

* High School diploma or equivalent is required.
* Minimum of one (1) year previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Shipping and Receiving.
