JOB DESCRIPTION

BASIC FUNCTION

The primary functions of this job are related to performing, in a timely and professional manner, essential duties to assist Account Officers and Branch Manager with loan origination, underwriting, servicing and administration duties.

Primary Accountabilities:

Assist Account Officers and Branch Managers with loan origination tasks including, but not limited to, ordering appraisals, title work, courthouse searches, credit reports, collateral evaluations, environmental questionnaire, verify corporation in good standing status, and flood determinations.

Assist Account Officers with loan approvals within delegated authorities and proper loan pricing.

Process AgScore loans within delegated authorities and Branch Manager guidance.

Complete Excap packages as directed by the Account Officers.

Assist with gathering financial data, including year-end data and enter into Excap.

Assist the branch team to ensure the branch's adherence to all regulatory, legal compliance, policies and procedures.

Assist with the follow up for compliance with loan conditions, loans on the credit watch list reports and loan servicing plans.

Assist the Account Officer and loan processors in managing the collateral for existing loans, including ordering new appraisals, courthouse searches, filing new UCCs, sending notices of security interest to vendors, loan assignments

Coordinate obtaining loan guarantees on designated loans and the completion of the periodic guarantee loan reporting requirements.

Monitor loan pricing related note modification opportunities and coordinate the branch's note modification processing efforts.

Assists with the branch team's loans maturing and past due loan processes.

Efficiently handles the position responsibilities to enhance the financial performance of the branch and the Association.

Secondary Accountabilities:

Assists branch team with maintaining CRM, loan portfolio management and other loan administration related tasks.

Assist with preparing or completing Association credit, operations, compliance and/or legal checklists.

Provide support to the residential lending team as needed.

Assists with the branch's loan related scanning efforts.

Ensure all borrower information including but not limited to, loan files, financial information and personal information is stored in a secure setting at the end of each workday.

Build enduring customer relationships based on adding value, knowledge, information, and quality service.

Actively promotes AgCredit's corporate core values.

Promotes harmony and teamwork within the office by maintaining a positive attitude towards members, prospects and team members.

Completes training programs as organized and/or approved by AgCredit.

Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or Association management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Two-year degree in Business or Ag Business
• Two years experience working in support of a lending team.
• Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people and work independently with a minimum of direction.
• Demonstrates attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Use of discretionary judgment in making decisions and problem solving
• Working knowledge of general business machines, i.e. PC, Calculator, copier, fax, etc.
• Working experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge in the area of agriculture is beneficial.
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formats to recognize and correct correspondence and reports.
