Job Description

General Laboratory Sample Registration and Process Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensures efficient and effective lab operations, including lab quality control and compliance adherence.
  • Receive, log, and document incoming samples according to established procedures and protocols- Enter sample information into the laboratory information management system (LIMS) accurately and promptly.
  • Verify sample integrity, labeling accuracy, and compliance with submission requirements upon receipt.
  • Documents all work accurately, clearly and correctly, and in compliance with regulatory requirements; Write or revise SOPs, as required.
  • Receive, scan and ship samples to various laboratories for validation process and procedure. Timely Process the samples based on SOPs and/or project plans
  • Keeping track of all incoming and outgoing samples including retaining and disposing of samples.
  • Ensures efficient and effective lab operations, including lab quality control and compliance adherence.
  • Meet operations measurements, including TATs, instrument availability, and laboratory inventory
  • Communicate with clients or internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or missing information related to sample registration.
  • Maintaining tidy work place.
Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee and manage the logistical operations of the instrumentation, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a healthy fleet of instruments and ready to use condition. Perform troubleshooting and repairs as needed
  • Timely shipping instrument, parts, necessary devices to clients for implementation and replacement Update assets information and locations accordingly
  • Maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents, and order necessary items in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and track laboratory shipments Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms for laboratory supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • An educational background in High School; a Bachelor's or A.A in a related field is a plus but not required
  • Must be able to work in the United States
Traits of an Ideal Candidate:
  • Proficient in companies IT systems and widely used software programs (word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to details; self-motivated; ability to handle multitasks; organizational skills;
  • Effective communication both orally and in writing; basic reasoning and problem solving
