Principal Accountabilities:
- Tire Service - Repair, replacement, and mounting.
- Preventive maintenance responsibilities to include complete lube changes, oil changes, filter services, and brake adjustments.
- Coolant System maintenance, which includess draining and refilling.
- Check all vehicle fluids and make general repairs when necessary.
- Check oil levels, as well as things such as the status of tires, air filters, windshield wiper fluid, brake fluid, and engine coolant.
- Change worn out or broken belts, hoses, spark plugs, or windshield wiper blades.
- Maintain records of all maintenance performed.
- Clean and maintain garage area as needed.
- Assists mechanics and performs other duties as assigned.
- Understands and adheres to all safety standards.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Ability to repair and service tires.
- Knowledge of tire repair
- Knowledge of automotive and truck equipment
- 3+ years of tire experience, ideally in a retail setting
