University of Miami, Facilities & Operations Department is Hiring!

Maintenance Mechanic (all levels)

Shifts available:

1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm

2nd shift: 1pm - 9:30pm (includes extra 6% differential pay added to base)

Minimum requirements:

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

Certification and Licensing:

Valid Florida Driver's License

Certification in relevant specialty or field or valid license from Miami Dade County

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.

Commitment to the University's core values.

Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.

Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
