Job Description:

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares accounts receivable reconciliations, roll-forwards, and aging schedules, sales allowance reconciliations, analyses, and calculations.
  • Researches and resolves A/R aging items.
  • Works closely with Sales team and 3PL to research and resolve rejected chargebacks.
  • Prepares and records revenue, sales allowances, and A/R journal entries.
  • Facilitates monthly A/R calls with 3PL.
  • Reviews and codes invoices from customers for DSA fees.
  • Reviews and provides pricing for returns authorizations and returns credit memos.
  • Reviews and codes Medicaid rebate invoices.
  • Verifies monthly balance sheet reconciliations to trial balances.
  • Compiles documentation for monthly closing binder.
  • Prepares invoices, records sales revenue, and cash receipts for EU sales.
  • Prepares and distributes weekly and monthly sales reports to management team, and monthly government pricing organization (GPO) net sales reports.
  • Assists with inventory and COGS accounting.
  • Accrues inventory payables reconciliations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • BA in accounting or related field; MA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in A/R processing and/or gross-to-net accounting, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Well-organized and proactive approach to work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on advanced MS Excel skills, Adobe Pro.
  • Knowledge of Great Plains, a plus.
