Manufacturing Engineer II

MilliporeSigma in Danvers, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. In this role you will work with a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians to lead projects that support the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities:

Regular collaboration with other engineers, technicians, quality, and production operatorsProactively evaluate all activities within a work cell and apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials to resolve problems quicklyProactively develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying the product and production methods and work with a team of engineers to drive efficiency into daily activityAddress production floor issues by working with the floor operators and applying RCA logic as needed to determine the best path forward in a timely mannerLead process IQ/OQ/PQ validation based on project plans which includes modification and training to standard operating procedures (SOPs) as neededSupport company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, as well as all regulatory and GMP requirements

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Biomedical or other Science or Engineering field and 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience OR High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a commercial medical, biotechnology, Bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentExcellent problem-solving skills including root cause analysis, lean and six sigma methodologiesAbility to work with a sense of responsibility, vitality, and high energy with positivityCapable of working on multiple tasks, meet established due dates, and demonstrate strong attention to detailSkills to grasp modern technology quicklyStrong communicator, both written and verbalKnowledge of manufacturing concepts and cGMP
