2 Immediate Positions -Medical Orthotic Technicians

Position Title: Entry Level Orthotic Technician

Pay: $18-$19 hr./DOE

Schedule: Monday- Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm

Location: Maplewood - 100% in office

Currently seeking candidates with 6+ months of experience in soldering, cabinetry, fabrication, welding, or those holding a degree in orthotics/prosthetics. Must demonstrate proficiency in precise manual tasks and possess previous manufacturing experience. Strong attention to detail and coordination skills are essential. In this role you will be doing the fabrication process of custom orthotic prosthetic braces Excellent opportunity to work in a organized and clean environment with a small team.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize hands and equipment in the fabrication process of custom orthotic prosthetic braces.

• Collaborate with Certified Practitioners on brace adjustments and modifications.

• Maintain and clean equipment around lab and work area.

• Drape mold thermoplastics.

• Use grinders to shape and finished custom orthotic braces.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and learn from experienced technicians.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of high school or GED

• 6+ months of experience with soldering, cabinetry, fabrication, welding, OR someone with an orthotics / prosthetics degree.

• Ability to work with hands in precise tasks.

• Previous Manufacturing experience

• Good attention to detail and coordination

• Motivated to work in a fast pace, very hands on environment.

• Ability to multi-task and be part of a team with a strong focus on quality of work.
