The Meta Reality Labs (RL) group brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software and content. This includes Meta Quest and Portal products, Ray-Ban Stories, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).Reality Labs is looking for a strategic, data-driven self-starter with expertise in identifying and rigorously addressing long-term business challenges. This manager will be responsible for connecting the dots between our various products within Reality Labs (Quest, Portal, Ray-Ban Stories) and Meta's Family of Apps. They will develop recommendations that shape our strategy and are based on internal and external insights and data sources. The ideal candidate has experience in strategy development, C-Suite communication and stakeholder management. They have used scenario planning and business case modeling to provide leadership with options and tradeoffs. This individual thrives in and enjoys a fast-paced, cross-functional, and action-oriented environment. A successful candidate will demonstrate having had tangible impact in a strategy role.

Market and Ecosystem Intelligence Manager Responsibilities:

  • Become a trusted advisor and thought partner to the Product and Go-To-Market Leadership team
  • Analyze Meta's Ecosystem and Market dynamics and develop recommendations to leadership
  • Work with other insights producing teams, including Analytics to ensure we leverage Meta's wealth of expertise
  • Conduct interviews, run benchmarks and develop frameworks to address business questions
  • Manage team resource to scale impact through vendor support or specialist data sources
  • Foster relationships and work with cross-functional partners to understand their needs and ideas on how to solve business problems
  • Own or support ad-hoc strategic projects, requests and/or analysis, as needed, e.g., developing a POV on privacy and trust related topics


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Strategy, Product Operations, Finance, Business, Management and related Support Services
  • 10+ years of experience with leadership influence, strategy and cross-functional collaboration
  • 4+ years of experience in business strategy, financial planning, project management
  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, consumer product, and project management
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and analytical problem-solving


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience working with or as part of a strategy and insights team
