Job Title: Material Handler

• Location: Lake Forest, CA
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 5:00 pm; occasional Saturdays, 6:00 am - 12:00 pm (During busy season, with opportunities for overtime)
• Pay Rate: $18-20/hour
• Type: Temp to hire
• Interview: 1 onsite, 30-minute interview

Job Summary:

The Material Handler will play a key role in the timely and accurate shipment of products to customers and receipt of goods for warehousing or delivery to other departments within the company. The role involves ensuring that materials are processed efficiently and accurately, resolving any inventory or shipping errors, and maintaining organized records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull and audit material issues related to customer sales orders and capital equipment orders.
• Ship products according to sales order requests, ensuring shipments are complete and accurate.
• Identify, track, and resolve inventory and shipping errors, problems, or delays.
• Process received materials by checking, verifying, and tagging them.
• Check receipts for correct quantities and item numbers, and refer any issues accordingly.
• Enter receiving information into the computer and forward necessary information to relevant personnel.
• Process product returns and conduct cycle count inventories of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure all goods are appropriately packaged and labeled before storage.
• Restock shelves as needed and process receiving activities related to warranty repair RMAs, customer-owned equipment, and manufacturing/repair/rework suppliers.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory management, and logistics.
• Experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
• Experience with Federal Express and UPS preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
