POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is also responsible for assembling electronics products

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble electronic/electrical assembly and sub-assemblies
  • Performs with minimum supervision and with the direction of a group leader build a wide variety of standard products.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School graduate
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, wire lists and schematics.
  • 6 months manufacturing experience
  • Able to perform basic math
  • Some computer skills desired

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, wire lists and schematics.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities as it pertains to your job.
  • Familiarity with hotmelt and wire cutting machines and techniques.

Physical Demands
  • Employee is required to talk and hear.
  • Employee may be regularly required to stand for 2 or more hours at a time, with minimal breaks.
  • Employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
  • Employee is required daily face-to-face interaction with employees on the production line.

Work Environment:
  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled production area environment, with frequent exposure to electronic equipment. Occasionally maybe exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
