Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant in the Westerville, OH area!
Schedule:
M-F (8a-5p)
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- 1. Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipment
- 2. Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG?s
- 3. Administer injections and collect specimen
- 4. Document patient care using NextGen electronic medical record software
- 5.Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork 6. Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures
- 1. High School Diploma or GED
- 2. Medical Assistant Diploma
- 3. 1+ Year Recent Primary Care Experience
- 4. 1+ Year Recent Phlebotomy Experience
- 5. 1+ Year Recent Medication Administration Experience (Vaccinations)
- 6. Ability to commute to the office location.
- 7. Must obtain certification prior to conversion
