Earn up to $30.85 /hour.

Position Details

This position will work collaboratively with the Philadelphia Police Department and Septa Police when dispatched for various emergency calls (possible overdose, welfare checks, disorderly conduct, etc.) or other non-violent mental health or behavioral health calls. This role is the first point of contact and will work to clinically triage individuals that are actively in crisis in the community. Also, will be the person on scene who completes all relevant paperwork relating to a 302(involuntary psychiatric commitment).

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's Degree or higher in a clinical Human Service concentration field required.

• Minimum of three (3) years (preferred) of counseling experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol and/or mental health setting
