Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a MRI Technologist in Shelby, NC

Summary:

The MRI Technologist I perform procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards

Position Responsibilities:

• Operates MRI Scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency.
  
• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
  
• Refers and questions orders to the Radiologist before performing exam.
• .Prepares patients for the procedure with a full explanation and documents on appropriate worksheets
  
• Interviews patients for a complete medical history

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology or active enrollment in a ARMRIT or ARRT registry eligible program required.
  
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, ARRT or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry from the ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI required within one year of hire
  
• CPR certification required through AHA
