Required Qualifications

• Transports construction materials in & out of the tunnel needed for mining operations, using multi-service vehicles (MSV, tunnel vehicles)
• Monitor various gauges during operation of vehicle, including material on the vehicle is properly loaded, positioned and not exceeding any gauge.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment. Report any problems to his Supervisor, Tunnel Construction Manager Equipment Manager, and Safety Manager, as needed.
• Must keep vehicle in a clean and orderly condition.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state and company requirements.
• Performs additional assignments per management's direction.

• Must be able to communicate with others to convey information effectively.
• Must demonstrate attention to details.
• Must be knowledgeable of safety procedures and practices.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Maintains vehicles according to company specifications while ensuring the safety of others on the road during transport, such as pedestrians.

• Candidates with High School Diploma are strongly preferred.
• Experienced construction employees are strongly preferred.
• Required clean driving record.
• At least one year of multiservice vehicle driver experience.
