Your Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, and technicians on transportation and municipal projects. Project engineering responsibilities include infrastructure design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimating, and thorough project QA/QC.

Project Management duties include developing and managing the project scope, schedule, and budget; and delivering an overall quality project to our clients. Collaboration with a team of engineers and mentoring of entry-level staff will be essential.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Experience managing multi-discipline engineering projects.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Experience with ODOT and municipal projects involving roadway rehabilitation/reconstruction, infrastructure design, and pedestrian/bicycle facilities.
  • Understanding of State, Local, and Federal funding programs.
  • Understanding of ODOT design criteria, standards, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
  • The desire and ability to build strong client relationships.
  • The desire and ability to train entry-level engineers and interns.
  • Experience with maintenance of traffic design is a plus.
  • Experience with traffic engineering is a plus.
  • Experience with Right of Way plan development is a plus.
  • Experience with OpenRoads Designer is a plus.
  • Experience with AutoCad/Civil 3D is a plus.
  • Participation in local professional society functions is a plus.
