NCS Management Trainee
National Coatings & Suppliers, Inc.

The Store Manager-in-Training (MIT) will be immersed in learning all aspects of managing a National Coatings and Supplies/Single Source Inc. Store as well as the sales functions of the organization. Training will take place through on-the-job experiences while learning under the guidance of their Store Manager, District Operations Manager, District Sales Manager, and other partners. You will support the store by building loyalty and long-lasting relationships with our customers.We are looking for recent or upcoming college graduates to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, orienting, training, supervising, evaluating, motivating, communicating with, leading and disciplining all employees in store
• Ensure planning, direction, and scheduling of employee work in order to optimize labor utilization and align with workflow and profitability
• Maintain inventory control and direct the taking of inventory in order to optimize cash flow for the organization
• Enforce and follow all rules, policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance with State and Federal Laws, DOT and OSHA Regulations
• Monitor customer pricing for strict control of gross-profit margins
• Perform administrative duties as necessary
• Maintain relationships with key customers including site visits
• Engage with functional Corporate departments
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, sales or related field required
• Familiar with and competent knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Office, Excel, Word)
• Team player with exceptional customer service skills
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Must maintain a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
