About the Role:
Job Summary
Serves the organization, patients, and other customers by providing a wide range of computer related technical services. As a member of the Technical Services Team, the job is responsible for architecture and the management of critical clinical infrastructure in a wired/wireless environment. Provide infrastructure engineering services including: F5 and Citrix load balancing, Windows/Linux/AIX operating systems; application, system and network security; and Tier 3 data center operations. Conducts research on emerging technologies and recommends technologies that increase infrastructure flexibility and resiliency. Manages and maintains QoS to enable Avaya VoIP and Polycom Video across wired and wireless infrastructure. Knowledge managing/maintaining troubleshooting Juniper and Aruba network equipment including switching/routing, RF engineering, LAN/WAN/MAN management and design. Strong knowledge of the OSI model to troubleshoot issues from physical to application layer. Disaster recovery planning and testing for highly available infrastructure. Project management experience and mentoring staff to achieve desired outcomes in support of a 24x7 critical patient care environment.
