The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for the configuration, design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network systems with a focus on Security technologies. A strong background in Cisco networking is a must. Additionally, the incumbent is expected to have a working experience with Cisco routers and switches, Cisco Firewalls (ASA/FTD), Cisco Umbrella SIG, Cisco ISE, Data Center Networking, and SASE. The candidate will serve as a subject-matter expert and will be accountable for identifying and resolving issues impacting production systems.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Identify and design security-based solutions within the bank.
• Evaluate existing controls and solutions implemented and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Perform software and firmware upgrades on network devices/firewalls/security components.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new technology into the network.
• Provide technical support to end-users as needed.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Demonstrated expertise with Visio to produce detailed network documentation.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel within the WSFS Bank footprint in the Greater Philadelphia region as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and/or work experience.
• Must have 5+ years of experience providing hands-on systems support for Information Technology.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is preferred.
• Cisco Experience (Nexus 9k, ISR4k, Router and Switches, IWAN, Meraki, Cisco SD-WAN).
• Firewall experience with Cisco Firepower and ASA legacy configurations.
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE and Network Access Control Systems.
• Ability to work on assigned tasks with moderate oversight.
• Must have strong analytical ability, excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent listening ability and presentation skills.
