A day in the life.

As our Office Assistant - TEMP (OAT) on the Office Services Department, you'll be responsible for the following:

The primary function of this position is to provide be the backbone of our operations, handling a variety of tasks to keep everything running like a well-oiled machine. Here's what you can expect to dive into: You will have the opportunity to work on various projects supporting our HR, Claims, and Office Services teams. Whether it's assisting with recruitment efforts, helping process claims, or tackling special office projects, you'll be the ultimate team player. In addition, the OA might sometimes act as a receptionist or be responsible for maintaining the office supply inventory. In general, they support the other staff through the tasks they perform.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  • Administrative experience, including tasks like data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments.
  • Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organizational abilities to manage tasks, deadlines, and calendars efficiently.
  • Attention to detail for accurate data entry, proofreading, and record-keeping.
  • Customer service skills for interacting with clients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Problem-solving capabilities to address challenges and find solutions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and tasks.
  • Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the organization's success.
  • Work in various project for the HR and Claims department.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
  • College Degree preferred (high school diploma is required).
  • 1+ years of clerical experience.
  • Proficient MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Applied EPIC AMS knowledge preferred.

Work environment & physical demands.
  • Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods as well as use office machinery such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.
  • Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

The applicable base salary range for this role $35,360 to $67,800. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
