The Operations Manager will be a ccountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources. Your results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on your ability to influence and negotiate with internal or external partners. The Operations Manager directs the Greenville, TX warehouse, assuring products, parts or supplies are shipped, distributed, received, packaged and stored, according to establish policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Lead the safety, quality and performance of the site

Direct a high-performance work team culture based on collaboration, employee engagement & continuous improvement Achieve increasing levels of employee retention via structured training & effective supervisor-associate communication
Ensure integrity of inventory assets by developing & maintaining receiving, counting, put-away, and audit processes in accordance with network standards

Secure inventory is stored in a safe condition, protected from damage and loss, and is maintained in a pick-ready status

Maintain a velocity-slotting program in coordination with other Operations departments

Continuous attention to improving the operation through the use of World Class Logistics methodology

Benchmark other Network Depot operations and adopt best practices where applicable
Develop, train and manage Supervisors in the department; holding each accountable for respective productivity, quality and safety objectives
Responsible for ~35 employees (mix of hourly and salaried employees)

Qualifications

Preferred Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of supervisory experience with 2+ years in manufacturing or logistics

OR 6+ years of supervisory experience with 5+ years in manufacturing or logistics

The preferred candidate will have experience with the following:PC, Microsoft Office software expert level (Excel, PowerPoint), with Advanced level of Access experience
SAP experience
Strong analytical, investigative, interpersonal and communicative skills
Excellent organizational influence and critical thinking skills
Ability to multi-task, working as team champion with subordinates as well as team member amongst senior leadership

Familiarity with CNH World Class Logistics (WCL) or World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology or equivalent (for example, Toyota Production System, Six Sigma, Lean, Continous Improvement Methodologies)
