MAJOR FUNCTION: Tallahassee Community College is seeking a part-time administrative assistant to assist Student Life in maintaining correspondence with students via the Student Life email, organizing participation data, preparing reports, managing files, creating and distributing marketing materials, and completing other administrative duties as needed. The administrative assistant also plays a part in helping to update the Student Life calendar, schedule appts with Student Life staff, and organize Student Life events.
MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: OPS positions require at least a High School Diploma or GED with appropriate experience.
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING: Proven ability to learn how to use new software; Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and email; Strong organizational skills; Strong customer service skills; Ability to manage files and records, and design forms; Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; Ability to handle confidential information.
