Summary

Our Originations Project Manager is a key role that will help lead our Company into our next generation of products as a Captive lender. This role plans, directs, and coordinates activities of Originations projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Strong communication, precise organization, and business process development are key to the success of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Consults with management and reviews project proposals to determine goals, time frame, limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
  • Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources
  • Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives of project
  • Documents workflows, procedures and requirement policies as required
  • Has previous Operational experience to guide business through process developments & efficiencies
  • Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks
  • Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel including assignment of duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
  • Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
  • Reviews reported statuses of project personnel and modifies schedules and plans as required
  • Prepares project status reports and keeps management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues
  • Confers with project personnel to provide business process and technical advice and resolve problems
  • Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications
  • Develops business processes that ensure developed application meets all project requirements
  • Coordinates project activities with marketing, sales, credit, operations, customer support, and client staffs to ensure goals and requirements are met

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in Business/Project Management from four-year College or university; Three or more years related experience and/or training, specific to the auto finance industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in the auto and/or finance industry preferably in leading operational functions as it relates to Originations Lending, Collections and Customer Service is preferred. Previous experience with implementations of new processes and systems, system upgrades and process documentation related to Servicing and Loan Origination Software Platforms.

Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project, MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of working with previous servicing and loan origination platforms beneficial.

Work Schedule: May be required to work more than 40 hours per week as business needs dictate. Eligible as a remote position, in which case, must be able to travel 10% of the time.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations PMP certification preferred.
