Part-Time or Full-Time Nurse Practitioner

Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $73.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our largest clients has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Yakima, WA! The Nurse Practitioner will travel to one senior living facility per day in the Yakima area.

Part-time and full-time candidates will be considered! Medical Malpractice insurance is offered!

For part-time candidates, at least 20 hours/week are requested.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, patient facing
• Effectively manage acute and chronic medical and behavioral conditions
  
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including ICD 10 conditions.
  
• Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
  
• Conduct advanced illness and advanced care planning conversations
  
• Provide patients and caregivers with counseling and education
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program
  
• Active and unrestricted WA Nurse Practitioner license
  
• Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center, with certification in one of the following:
• Family Nurse Practitioner
• Adult Nurse Practitioner
• Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
• Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• At least 6 months of previous Nurse Practitioner experience
