Job Details:

Title: Patient Care Assistant (on-site)

Hours: Day-7:30am-3:30pm

Length of Engagement: Open Contract

Rate: Depends on Experience

Description:

This role would be supporting a student in 1:1 setting. The PCA would assist the student with meeting academic and/or behavioral goals. The PCA would assist the student with any supports/modifications needed to access facilities and curriculum, including physical support, and adapting teaching materials.

Education requirements:

• Associate degree preferred.
• Will accept candidates without associate degree. (20 hours of professional development to be completed during course of assignment on-site)

Preemployment Needs:

• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• Department of Education Fingerprints (Act 114)
• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
• CPR/First Aid
