PI Historian Engineer

One of our clients in Rosemead, CA is looking for a PI Historian Engineer with the following skills and experience:

Job Title: Senior PI Historian Engineer

Key Technical Requirements:

• Demonstrated proficiency in architecting and designing PI systems, including components and interfaces, with over 7 years of experience.
• Extensive expertise in OSIsoft Suite tools, encompassing PI AF, PI Web API, AF Analytics, PI EventFrames, PI Datalink, PI Vision, PI Integrator for Business Analytics, PI Config, and PI Interfaces & Connectors.

Project Overview:

• Lead the migration process from the current system to OSIsoft PI historian.
• Collaborate in the design and development of OSIsoft systems, leveraging existing architecture.
• Implement PI systems in mission-critical and high-availability environments.
• Ensure solutions adhere to robust cybersecurity standards.

Business Challenge:

• Enhance data management capabilities by streamlining historical data gathering processes.

Impact to End Users:

• Facilitate better access to historical data for informed decision-making and improved operational efficiency.

Non-Technical Skills:

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities for addressing complex challenges.
• Proven project management expertise to ensure successful implementation.
