Overview

AutoCrib is the leader in industrial vending technology. We design and create all of the software and hardware in-house to help manage inventory for our customers. Candidate will support AutoCrib Production, QA and Inventory Management Departments with hardware engineering services.

Responsibilities

• Report to the VP of Hardware Engineering for project priorities, task assignments and budget approvals
• Report on the status of authorized projects, ECO cases, and other activities at weekly meetings of the Engineering Department
• Represent the Engineering department at the Production team meeting
o Update status of design changes and ECOs
o Record requests for ECOs, create cases and manage them
• Document & maintain production support & QA inspection equipment
o Fixtures, test rigs, programmers, meters, assembly tools
o On the line and at vendor sites
o Include assembly instructions, videos, animations and other visual aids.
• Other engineering activities as assigned by the VP or Hardware Engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 1-year direct experience as a Snap-on AutoCrib Associate Engineer, or 3 years' experience in a similar shop floor production engineering position
• CAD software, SolidWorks or similar; Adobe Photoshop or similar graphics program
• Reading & interpreting blueprints
• Dimensioning & materials specification
• Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects while maintaining accuracy, time-lines, and composure
• Strong oral, written, and analytical skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
• Ability to work with diverse cultures, languages and customs, and to work with teams in remote locations and various time zones
