YOUR ROLE

• Responsible for the daily management of all production Supervisors insuring that:
• safe work practices are strictly enforced.
• production meets quality standards.
• production output meets established thru-put standards thereby assuring that yields are met so that raw material losses are prevented.
• Reviews and schedules production with Production Schedulers to meet customer's requirements and coordinates with Supply Chain to achieve smooth RM availability.
• Schedules and directs the proper and efficient manning of production departments.
• Informs appropriate product managers, business managers, and/or sales Managers of any inability to meet customer delivery requirements and recommends and/or implements corrective action.
• Hires, trains, and releases employees as required to meet production requirements keeping within approved budgets, standard costs, and head count authorizations.
• Prepares, reviews, and maintains production records necessary for managing and controlling production operations and costs to assure that labor is properly distributed, and quantities reported are actually produced. Must meet KPIs as set by the Business.
• Responsible for the assisting in the development of departmental budgets ensuring that costs are appropriately determined for labor, inspection, variable expenses (waste removal, supplies, maintenance materials, maintenance labor) and power, fuel, and water, and non-standard manufacturing expenses.
• Responsible for plant housekeeping (5S standards set by Henkel) within all production and warehousing areas. In charge of site HPS planning and oversite.
• Conducts all operations in compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as all Henkel related requirements above and beyond these.

YOUR SKILLS

• Must have a degree in Business or manufacturing related area, or the equivalent
• 3-5 or more years of management experience in a manufacturing facility
• Experience working in Union Facility preferred
• Demonstrated application and knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and 6-sigma GB certification.
