Job Description:

Expectations

The Production Training Supervisor will be responsible for the production-training program and be utilized to optimize and standardize a broad range of production systems and processes for the production organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize all ES&H related matters at highest level.
  • Lead team of two trainers to include timely completion of training documents and effective initial operator training.
  • Develop/Maintain training system to meet ISO 9001 training requirements to include training plans, qualification matrix, and effectiveness audits.
  • ERP/MES/SCADA (DARWIS) troubleshooting at the production floor transaction level.
  • User/Troubleshooting Guide development, accuracy, and usage. Audit effectiveness.
  • Escalation path sustainment and effectiveness.
  • MOS (PowerBI and Manufacturing Reports) system maintenance and improvement. MOS data mining for analysis.
  • Facilitate alignment between production and production planning to improve efficiency (CAPA).
  • KPI administration work through data collection and charting (Tier I communication).
  • Responsible for operator focused Continuous Improvement projects as appropriate, assist with engineering and quality RCAs and CI projects.
  • Work with Safety Coordinator to tailor safety training to meet production organization needs.

Education and Experience

Education:

Associates degree preferred or high school diploma or General Education

Degree (GED) plus 5 years manufacturing environment or related experience and / or training.

Professional experience:

Relevant work experience in manufacturing environment preferred. Familiarity with fast paced & multi-task work environment

Communications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills:

Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency.

Strong organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Word

Ability and desire to work in a team environment
