RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Program Manager in Doral, FL.Summary:The Program Manager is a leadership role within Enterprise Architecture and ensures their assigned technical projects and programs are well managed and that the project goals are delivered via the established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC). This role may manage multiple high dollar, high risks projects and/or programs. The Project/program teams include 30+ matrixed resources with a typical budget from $10+ million.Job Functions:
  • Program Manager will ensure that the programs and projects meet or exceed expectations in regards to scope, schedule, budget and quality
  • Manages relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Identifies risks and issues and drives to resolution and/or escalation
  • Collects, measures, reports, and communicates project/program status with a variety of leaders/groups throughout IT and the business
  • Responsible for the delivery of strategic initiatives
  • Oversees all aspects of program planning, management, and execution (scope, schedule, and budget)
  • Works with the business to ensure the business case and ROI are documented
  • Works with IT to ensure the program strategy and technical solution meets the business objectives
  • Responsible for creating a comprehensive program plan with sign-off from all workstreams
  • Ensures the project team creates and maintains appropriate deliverables while following the OneIT PMLC and SDLC
  • Leads budget creation and management with business, technology, and finance
  • Leads in negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinates preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of vendor contracts where appropriate
  • Responsible for proactive management in areas such as risks, budget/forecast, dependencies, etc.
  • Drives resolution of people, schedule, technical and financial conflicts


REQUIREMENTS:

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is preferred; An advance degree is highly desirable, particularly an MBA
  • Formal training and certification in the system development life cycle and project management is preferred; PMP and/or ITIL certification is preferred; Technical certificates such as Microsoft, HP, Oracle, Cisco certification is a plus
  • Minimum 8 years of overall experience in information technology
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a technical project manager
  • Experience working in a formal PMO, specifically on application and/or infrastructure projects
  • Experience in technology planning, project planning and execution, change management, and team management in a matrix environment
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar and high-risk programs
  • Experience resolving all types of technical and financial project issues
  • Experience with creative and innovative thinking to find solutions to complex technical and project problems that can balance short and long- term objectives
  • Experience holding teams accountable
  • Experience managing vendors in the execution of their statement of work and holding them accountable
  • Excellent verbal and written communications in U.S. English and comfortable with executive presentations
  • Ability to communicate project/program status including issues and risks to IT and business leadership
  • Ability to effectively manage a portfolio of projects (scope, schedule, budget)


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
