The Project Manager 2 manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager2 will:

• Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing the project
• Monitor progress and performance against the project plan
• Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
• Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete project work
• Prepare designs and work specifications
• Develop project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors
• Communicate with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project
• Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project
• Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones
• Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including linkage to related areas
• Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations
• Require minimal direction yet receive guidance where needed
• Follow established guidelines/procedures

• 5+ years ofProject Management Experience
• Proficient with MS office products
• Strong communication verbal and written to various audience and levels
• Professional phone etiquette and proficiency in video conferencing
• Ability and potential flexibility to travel up to 25% based on business need
• Strong team player to work independently and as team member
• Strong professional demeanor and phone etiquette

• PMP Preferred
• Bachelor's degree
• Previous experience in healthcare technology and EMRs
