RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project-Program Manager in Lisle, IL.Essential Functions:
  • In consultation with the SVP of IT, define the project(s) which require project management support
  • Set out how selected project(s) fit within the overall business strategic objectives, test whether the timing and resource availability are right to launch the project
  • Coordinate and contribute to the Project Steering Group (to be implemented), assisting with project prioritization and prepare new project submissions
  • Working with key stakeholders, deploy project management methodology to design the project plan, identifying priorities, timelines, resources, risks and mitigations, and desired outcomes
  • Once launched, actively manage and coordinate the program roadmap, handling changes as they arise, ensuring resources are in place, team members are accountable, and stakeholders are focused on the agreed change outcomes and benefits
  • Work closely with process owners/sponsors to understand and improve specific processes with a focus on best delivering each project
  • Work across business functions to develop required processes which cross functional boundaries within each project
  • Participate during all phases of the project management lifecycle from initiation through to implementation, project closure and business as usual, and then post project review
  • Schedule and conduct project meetings, communicate assignments and expectations to project team members and track completion of project deliverables to ensure quality and integrity of all project-related products
  • Become the key point of contact for the assigned programs/projects and communicate with all stakeholders
  • Organize resources, work to tight deadlines, manage simultaneously occurring tasks and shifting priorities; Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures and costs against the budget and advise project board of any deviation


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certified in an established Project/Program Management methodology (e.g., PMP)
  • Skilled in Change Management
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products particularly MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience of governance and risk control frameworks, identifying project risk (Schedule, Scope & Cost) and ensuring robust mitigations are in place
  • Experience of Business Process Improvement, Digital or AI projects beneficial
  • Experience managing system integrations or implementations (ERP/CRM project exposure will be an asset)
  • Good knowledge of either the sales, marketing, finance, or logistics functional areas with knowledge of the LPG industry or retail environment would be desirable
  • Agile Project Management knowledge useful

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, to liaise with all levels of users to identify requirements
  • Must be a strong communicator both verbal and written with a comprehensive understanding of content and context
  • Displays good presentation skills and can tailor communication methods for the audience, environment, and setting
  • Being able to work as part of a team or alone in a professional, responsive, and effective manner
  • Comfortable personal style that will allow themselves to be welcomed into many non-technical functional areas, whilst maintaining and gaining respect for their technical abilities
  • It is also essential to build appropriate relationships with -Super Users- within each functional area of the business
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered and prioritize work according to business needs, with a proven ability to persuade and influence senior decision-making


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
