Overview / Responsibilities

In light of startup process looking for people with current experience and have a broader basis of knowledge on coalbed gas pumping and roustabout abilities

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

  • Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule
  • Routinely inspect pumping units, compressors, and other equipment; ensures they are well maintained
  • Monitor production equipment, compressors, wellheads, dehydrators and meters
  • Manage daily fluid production; gauge and record oil and water tanks; record all seal records
  • Analyze production related problems and work with foreman and other personnel to troubleshoot
  • Submit data and turn in all reports and tickets on a timely basis
  • Inspect lease sites, ensure they are clean and maintained; check for spills and fluid leaks
  • Provide relief pumping when needed
  • Communicate regularly with production foreman
  • Ensure company provided vehicle is well maintained and cleaned
  • Perform light maintenance on equipment
  • Optimize artificial lift systems as required
  • Optimize chemical treating program
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Skills / Qualifications

  • Knowledge of coalbed gas processes and production equipment
  • Knowledge of gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
  • Knowledge of safety/environmental requirements and practices
  • Ability to analyze and solve mechanical problems
  • Able to perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years related work experience
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
