Your Role:

The Quality Assurance Manager is accountable for the Savannah, GA site quality assurance activities and objectives. The focus is to ensure the processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented, and maintained.

The QA Manager will be the site representative for the quality management system and steers compliance activities including but not limited to Food, Cosmetic, and Automotive regulations, and standards. Accountable for defining, implementing, training, and monitoring the processes for the management system which include ISO9001, Halal, Kosher, and other site requirements.

Supports employee engagement initiatives and allocates resources as needed. Drives operational excellence topics though continuous improvement by managing the Management of Change process, Continuous Improvement pipeline, internal and external audits, and other activities such as CAPAs, deviations, and customer complaints.

The QA Manager is accountable all key performance indicators in their given department and delegation of authority to direct reports to achieve the KPIs

Who You Are:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific discipline or related degree
  • 5+ years of experience in quality-related functions (QA or QC) and the ability to provide in-depth knowledge on a wide range of Quality processes

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience as External or Internal Auditor
  • FSMA PCQI training
  • Food Defense training
  • Supervisory experience
  • Interpersonal skills and thoughtful leadership allow you to build the needed relationships and rapport with Production, Business, and Global colleagues

The Quality Assurance Manager is an on-site position located in Savannah, GA with the ability to work from home as business needs permit.
