Description:

• The candidate would be working on the Enterprise Preference Management Program (EPMP) as a scrum team resource, and working primarily on ReactJS based UI development and unit testing.

Experience:

• Work experience of migrating an Angular JS web application to React JS screens.

Top Requirements:

• - React JS – 2 years minimum
• - Javascript – 3 years minimum
• - CSS – 3 years minimum

Team and Team size:

• The candidate would be part of a scrum team with 5-6 other developers.

Top Responsibilities:

• Solve tough technical problems at any level of stack (Backend/ Frontend/ Database/ Infrastructure) with emphasis on front end (Reactjs)
• Perform front-end UI software analysis, risk analysis, reliability analysis
• Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using React concepts
• Persistent & proactive in getting to the solution
• Learn and Share
• Integrate new software solution with existing system
• Extract and reverse engineer existing code
• Work along side with engineering and product team to develop new ideas into reliable products, features, services and tools utilizing the latest software development stacks and related technologies
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application code
• Monitor and improve front end capabilities.

• In depth and hands on UI development expertise with ReactJS
• Strong HTML, CSS, JS experience
• Experience with web Accessibility and responsive web design
• CI-CD experience (Jenkins)
• Experience with user interface design
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Experience with cross browser testing
• Good project management skills
• Knowledge of automation tests for react using Jest
• Should be able to work as part of an SCRUM team following Agile methodologies

Nice to have:

• Experience with web config tools like webpack, opensource systems
• Java, mongo db

Working Time:

• Day Shifts generally 9 AM to 5 PM, with additional efforts for release and other critical team activities.

Interview Process:

• a. How many rounds? 2 rounds
• b. Video vs. phone? Both Microsoft Teams meeting with webcam on.
• c. How technical will the interviews be? First round would be background and high level technical problem solving in CSS, Javascript and React JS. Second round would be fully technical with tough code development. Full screen sharing would be mandatory.
