: Receiving (Conveyor)

Shift: 1st Shift

Reports to: Logistics Supervisor

Position Summary: Perform duties associated with the Stock Room Department to achieve performance goals. This position's primary function will be to receive incoming material and put away material to the proper bin location.

Responsibility:

  • Use steel tape measure, weighing and counting equipment, computers, and appropriate handling equipment
  • Follow all safety rules and practices
  • Keep area clean
  • Know and follow all lockout/tagout procedures
  • Support and follow company policies and procedures
  • Attend meetings as requested and contribute to problem solving efforts
  • Verify all incoming materials for the correct information (Part number, quantity, etc.).
  • Verify the count of all incoming materials.
  • Check paperwork, verify, and put away all parts on incoming materials per work instructions.
  • Put away incoming material in appropriate storage locations per work instructions.
  • Unload and process deliveries from outside services per work instructions.
  • Process all inbound and transport orders through CI_LOG per work instructions.
  • Post transfer orders per work instructions.
  • Understand CI_LOG fundamentals and assist in CI_LOG related tasks.
  • Operate Forklift.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must have mobility to move around the facilities.
  • Operate computer terminals as pertains to production area
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Lift 50 pounds of customer test products up to 36" above the floor onto conveyor for testing purposes.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, Bills of Material, etc.
  • Must be comfortable working on your feet for 8+ hours.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screen.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in a production environment.
  • Occasional exposure to industrial operations (temperatures, noise, moisture, moving machinery).
