Recruiting Specialist

As the Recruiting Specialist you will assist with our staffing needs and find the right people to continue to grow and expand. You'll network with up-and-coming insurance professionals, identify top talent, and recruit them to our agency before the competition.

This role has a hybrid work arrangement within our Johns Creek, GA office following the first 90-days in office for training.

We will count on you to:
  • Establish a success-driven, company-wide recruiting process that will attract top talent to our team
  • Ability to write and edit clear, engaging job descriptions
  • Manage job postings for new job openings both internally and with public advertising on job boards and social media
  • Review resume submissions and make sure the most promising candidates are flagged for consideration
  • Manage daily activities of sourcing, interviewing, and scheduling of candidates
  • Directly research and source active and passive candidates through multiple channels including internet prospecting, networking, employee referrals, LinkedIn, and industry research
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to identify highly skilled talent during the recruitment process
  • Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
  • Create and expand candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs
  • Schedule interviews and additional skills testing as needed
  • Participate in job fairs
  • Build partnerships with local schools for future pipeline
  • Liaison for managers, candidates, and internal HR team regarding candidate status and next steps
  • Create monthly talent reports and keep talent metrics current
  • Additional duties as assigned

What you need to have:
  • 1-3 years experience in recruitment process and candidate coordination
  • Interviewing, interpersonal, and strong communication skills are needed for this role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously
  • Microsoft Suite and other systems proficiency with a desire to learn more.
  • Experience participating in a collaborative team environment and changing priorities.
  • Desire to learn about multiple lines of our business.
