Alliant Energy has an outstanding opportunity for a Regulatory Strategy Manager to join our team. In this role you will develop strategies that will advance the transition to a cleaner, renewable energy future. Your work will help to ensure successful regulatory outcomes on strategic priorities identified in our company's Clean Energy Blueprint to better serve customers and build stronger communities. You will identify creative solutions and engagement strategies to advance customer solutions, clean energy investments, and regulatory alignment with business strategies. You also will analyze and develop alternative regulatory models that support customer affordability and revenue growth goals. The ideal candidate will leverage knowledge of utility regulation and business practices to lead and support cross-functional teams in the execution of corporate strategic initiatives.

This position offers a blend of working from home, and in the Cedar Rapids, IA or Madison, WI office on average 2 days per week. The successful candidate must reside in either Iowa or Wisconsin.

Job Qualifications
Education

• Bachelor\u0027s Degree with an emphasis in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering Public Policy, orrelated area is preferred.

Required Experience

• 6 years of experience in utility regulatory affairs with preference for experience in the state jurisdiction.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Promotes and supports diversity initiatives and equal employment opportunity.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to independently to develop and implement short and long-term strategies to achieve business or regulatory priorities.
• Skilled in utility financial planning, business planning, and quantitative analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory models and business practices, including rate cases.
• Demonstrated collaboration leadership skills.
• Ability to think creatively, identify alternative solutions to address complex problems.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skill.
• Demonstrated ability to form and enhance effective relationships with business leaders, regulators, interest groups, utility industry professionals and elected officials.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive work environment
