Job Summary

This role is responsible for the delivery of learning interventions across the organization. The Learning & Development Business Partner is an experienced instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training facilitator, but also an instructional designer/developer who is capable of creating new leadership and interpersonal skills training, delivering it effectively to internal colleagues, and coaching other facilitators to deliver as well. It requires experience designing effective and efficient solutions that incorporate adult learning principles, change management, project management, and knowledge management best practices.

The Learning and Development Business Partner is a consultative resource to HR Business Partners and other internal stakeholders providing expertise in strategic operations, planning and execution of learning and development efforts for the enterprise with care for measures aligning towards inclusive diversity.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Assist with creating and developing a rapid growth training team with executive support
  • Conduct needs analysis, design & develop learning solutions, implement solution according to project plan, evaluate impact of solution
  • Advocate to embed development models such as ADDIE, Agile, or Learning Cluster into all applicable process and procedures for the enterprise.
  • Provide technical assistance for all aspects of the learning experience: instructor led, blended, technical, etc.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in instructional systems design; utilize technology tools to increase the company's capacity to design and deliver high quality virtual professional development
  • Provide knowledge in instructional systems design and adult learning theory in consultation with the business
  • Provide support for Culture & Organizational Development team members when appropriate

Required Skills

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional organization, project management and prioritization capabilities
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to provide leadership by influence, work collaboratively on teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels and functional areas of an organization
  • Exceptional communication skills - written, verbal and listening skills
  • Acute attention to detail and follow up skills
  • Proactive, energetic and creative.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • This is a full-time, fully remote role w/ limited travel

Required Knowledge & Experience

Education and Experience:
  • 3-5 years' experience in Learning and Development, a minimum of 3-years' experience in a professional corporate environment
  • End-to-end program development experience for leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies, instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training, non-training interventions/performance consulting, knowledge management, and change management preferred
  • Assist with team skill uplift and process improvements
  • Consult w/ internal customers and stakeholders to elicit requirements for program development
  • Coach & mentor entry-level instructional designers/facilitators
  • Experience using virtual classroom technology (such as GoToTraining, WebEx, Adobe Connect).
Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified to facilitate DiSC, StrengthsFinders, Five Dysfunctions of a Team, Extraordinary Leader or similar programs
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Management Information Systems, Organizational Development or related field; commensurate professional experience may be substituted
