*Compensation: * $150K - $200K+ base Depending on experience!

We are an early stage startup in the Cloud Security space. We are founded and led by experts in security software products and services, with extensive experience at venture-backed startups and decades of security domain experience. We have identified a painful and unmet need in the market and are building a SaaS product to fill this gap. Our product is a cloud-based SaaS system that runs at enterprise and internet scale. Alta is a large-scale distributed system with a nuanced and rich user experience that makes sense of a massive amount of information.

What You Will Be Doing Our product is deployed at several Fortune 500 companies as a proof-of-concept, but important decisions and implementations remain, and that's where you come in. You'll be deep into hands-on coding day-to-day while providing leadership to more junior engineers.
What You Need for this Position Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar with 5-10+ years experience in the following:

- Enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) development
- Backend Development with Python and/or Go
- Java (Python and/or Golang is also acceptable)
- AWS
- Streaming Data
- Kafka
- AWS
- ElasticSearch
- Cassandra

Preferred:

- Enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) development
- Experience with security software and systems
- API integrations
- Azure and/or GCP
