Job Description Summary
Li-San Wang's lab is hiring a Research Coordinator B to coordinate and manage international human genetics research projects at Penn Neurodegeneration Genomics Center (PNGC), with primary focus on the Asian Cohort for Alzheimer's Disease (ACAD) study. The person will interact directly with the study PI, site PIs and coordinators across North America and will be the main point of contact for the entire scope of the ACAD project. Primary duties of the staff member include (1) being the dedicated coordinator for the ACAD project which includes planning and management of all ACAD all-hands and workgroup meetings, creating meeting agendas, coordinating calls among numerous study sites, creating and tracking meeting minutes, generating progress reports and creating annual reports for the NIH; (2) coordinating site, training, and recruitment activities for ACAD; (3) creating, coordinating, maintaining and updating study and research protocol, consent forms and IRB activities for ACAD; (4) serving as the ACAD point-of-contact for site-specific queries across the globe; (5) working with the ACAD PI on grant writing and IRB activities; (6) coordinating data submissions and access requests for NIA Genetics of Alzheimer's Disease Data Storage Site (NIAGADS) and supporting NIAGADS's other human genetics research studies as assigned.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
