With a diverse and talented team supporting our customers all around the world, we've experienced 70+ years of success in animal health. We're currently building our Retail Marketing Team, focused on driving growth with partners such as Amazon, Chewy, Petco and more.

We're looking for a Retail Marketing Manager who will be responsible for defining our marketing strategy and executing customer specific campaigns across our portfolio. This position requires an action-oriented individual that can be both strategic and tactical. The candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects while simultaneously driving cross-functional alignment and exceptional results.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Strategy & Campaign Execution. Create compelling strategies to build awareness of our brands, acquire new buyers, and drive loyalty amongst our key retail customers. Work collaboratively across teams to provide strategic guidance, recommend go-to-market plans, and execute marketing tactics with excellence. Develop our annual strategic plan, present quarterly reviews, and develop monthly metric reports for assessing performance to plan. Take an agile approach to planning and execution, allowing for tactical shifts as necessary to address market dynamics. The individual will manage our retail marketing spend judiciously and with precision, anticipating and measuring impacts to revenue and margin.
  • Promotion Planning & Process. Create promotional strategies that drive growth and deliver high ROI. Develop strategic framework for promotions to guide decision making, planning, review/approval processes, and assessing incrementality. Report promo performance in a timely manner, leading with insights and implications for subsequent promos. Ensure all promotions and pricing programs are properly approved, documented, and maintained.

  • Analytics & Insights. Leverage data and insights to drive retail marketing decision making. Includes performance reporting against financial targets, campaigns, buyer behavior, and more. Design and deploy a standardized performance measurement framework for reporting and sharing insights on a monthly and quarterly basis. The candidate will demonstrate strong analytical acumen, the ability to distill data into insights, and a strong attention to detail. Monitor consumer trends, competitive activity, and customer evolution across the retail landscape. Partner with market research to uncover consumer attitudes, behaviors, customer journeys, etc. to inform plans and programs.
  • Partner for Growth. The position serves as the primary interface between our Retail Customers, Brand Marketers, and Account Managers. Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships, ensuring mutual success. Demonstrate a drive for results, interpersonal savvy, and customer obsession with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and document marketing calendars, joint business plans, KPI framework, and more to drive productive meetings and continuous improvements. Candidate must have the ability to confidently manage external partners and internal stakeholders, encouraging collaboration while maintaining accountability

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a focus on retail/shopper marketing
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience within a CPG, OTC, or animal health industry preferred
  • Candidate must have experience developing and executing customer-focused business plans, with overall budget responsibility and a focus on retail pharmacy and ecommerce segments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • 25% travel for customer and industry meetings
