We are looking to expand our team at our busy rooftop restaurant. Vaso is an innovative restaurant located in the trendy Bridgepark area of Dublin that serves Spanish Inspired Tapas and custom craft cocktails. Our menu changes bi-annually, and we entertain a high volume of business on a nightly basis.

The Private Events Coordinator provides clerical/secretarial and administrative support for Vaso & the Food & Beverage Department of the AC Hotel Dublin. This includes the booking & selling of all private event space with regards to our private dining room, seasonal igloos & cabanas, and restaurant buyouts. Additional duties include, but are not limited to computer input, filing, and answering telephones. The ideal applicant will be extremely organized and customer service oriented. Our Private Events Coordinator must be willing to go the extra mile to help make the guest experience one to remember and is hands on from the moment of inquiry throughout the entire experience.

This is a full-time position. As part of the Marriott family of hotels, all associates are eligible for the Marriott travel discount. Additionally, Full-time positions include free medical insurance, 401K (after 1 year of service), and paid time off.

Qualifications:

• High school degree required.
• Minimum of one year of hospitality experience.
• Well-organized and detail oriented.
• Time management skills essential.
• Basic computer competency and office/clerical equipment required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Delphi preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written.)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
