Job Details:

This position starts at $15.25/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have open positions for first shift.

This facility operates five days a week and produces Sausage Patties, Sausage Links and Roll Sausage.

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process.
• Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Set up equipment in preparation for startup and responsible for operating Split Saw.
• Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment.
• Ability to perform LOTO procedure as stated in LOTO training to lock out machine.
• Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.
• Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
• Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.
• Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
• Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.

Requirements:

Must have at least 3 months previous work experience with a single employer within the last 18 months. Location not accepting rehires.
