Job Description

• Utilize chromatographic, electrophoresis, and spectroscopic methods and instruments to support in-process sample testing

•Prepare buffer and samples for sample testing

•Analyze and report data following GxP requirements

•Design and perform experiments and scientific studies

•Document and present scientific findings


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

•Experience with HPLC and UV-Vis spectroscopy.

•Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve and a good understanding and application of the scientific method

•Ability to design and perform scientific studies and related analyses

•Familiarity with SOP and GxP requirements and documentation

Minimum Requirements:

•BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other related scientific discipline.

•0-1 years of relevant experience. Prior wet lab experience is a must.

•Experienced in pipetting and using a variety of pipettes

•General understanding of liquid chromatography, electrophoresis, and spectroscopy

•Effective communication and interpersonal skills

•Good time management and multi-tasking skills

•Ability to work within a team and also cross functional setting

•Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

•Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

•Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

•Computer Skills: Outlook, Explorer, Excel, Word;
