Innova's client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Representative to support the processing of receivables (collections) for assigned accounts. This is a full-time, direct hire role in Phoenix, AZ. Training will be on-site the first 2-3 weeks; then moves to 3 days on site a month.

Responsibilities:

  • Support department collection efforts by preparing initial collection letters, processing proper charge backs to member properties, and coordinating with our legal and membership support team as needed.
  • Provide high touch levels of customer service by researching, verifying, and conveying information to our member hoteliers. Resolve questions or problems by referencing established procedures.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile, and maintain general ledger account schedules, and process payments.
  • Support data integrity by checking accounting records for completeness and accuracy. Resolve accounting issues by identifying variances and discrepancies. Trace transactions to determine the source of error and make adjustments. Analyze and verify internal consistency of accounting documents.
  • Ensure efficient, accurate and timely billing processing by meeting department guidelines, schedules, and payment vendor terms. Prepare spreadsheets for billing, debits, and credits and/or corrections to member or vendor accounts.
  • Provide accurate accounting information by gathering, reconciling, and assembling data for weekly, monthly, and annual reports as required.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years related clerical accounting experience. Manager is looking for someone with business collections, not consumer.
  • Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate)
  • Experience with Workday Financials a plus
  • Alpha/numeric keyboarding skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knows accepted accounting guidelines and practices.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to resolve and apply experience to both routine and more complex problems.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $55k - $60k per year
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
